Simone met us as we travelled round the island to see the devastation and disruption caused by hurricane Thomas last October. It was humbling to see how the community were pulling together to carry on with their lives. It just made me feel that the least we can do in D1210 is to continue fund raising for Shelter Boxes and Aqua Boxes, to enable Rotarian Tom and his team to have enough supplies to send when they are desparately required across the world.We have been told that Rotary was the first organisation to respond to meet the needs of people in this area.
