Clair and I attended a local hospital to see how the elderly were looked after with Alzheimers disease and neurological conditions. We had a power point presentation on the new hospital. We could not fault the holistic approach and the fact that the patient was put at the centre of the care. The day hospital was noted for it's rehabilitation activities, especially the cooking, the cake that one of the residents had made smelt extremely nice.
We saw Rotary in action as we visited a garden shed equipped with tools and the vegetable patch. We enjoyed a buffet lunch with members of the hospital. Thank you to everyone for your time and effort.
